- VA is a board certified music therapist primarily. Her previous experience is in the fields of psychology and addiction, gerontology and cancer wellness. She has also worked with patients with autism and learning disabilities, and was a pioneer in the early applications of music therapy for music therapy-assisted childbirth and hospice care. She currently conducts continuing education for music therapists and performs/tours as a jazz artist.
